Counter to the knee slice pass using the scissor sweep
2m 34s
In this video Adam Benshea demonstrates an effective counter to the popular knee to same side guard pass in Jiu Jitsu. This technique is based on timing and allowing your training partner to spring the trap. Its important to allow your opponent to progress into his pass attempt prior to transitioning to the scissor motion. This technique can also lead to a cross choke if your opponent postures back allowing space to sit up and adjust the choke.
