The guillotine is one of the best attacks nogi while in the butterfly guard. The reason for this is the ability to extend your opponents base (his/her legs) with the butterfly hooks effectively dropping their head into position for the strangle. **Maintain the wedge position throughout this technique to have the best chance at finishing the choke.
