One of my favorite sweeps in jiu jitsu and its effective both with and without the gi. The key to pulling this technique off is to quickly extend and off balance your opponent and then perform the stand up technique while maintaining control of your partners leg. **I like to pull my knees to my chest like a reverse crunch "loading" up my legs prior to the extension movement.
