Aureleo uses a knee slice option to deal with the dangerous de la riva guard in this video. Notice the grip break and leg position as he cuts the knee to the same side. Many BJJ players make the mistake of not fully driving the leading knee to the mat which leaves them vulnerable to scissor sweep. This pass can also be combined with the double under pass if opponent stiff arms preventing head control.
